This is interesting and echoes the approach at Brooksbank. Kindness does not mean a lowering of expectations. It may be different for some staff initially but will reap huge benefits in the long term.

A real insight into how building relationships and having high expectations can be successful. The simple "consistent, insistent and persistent" message comes through and how this can be done in a positive way through the unconditional positive regard. Definitely worth a listen!
Totally agree @btague, supports the PBIS strategy and the CPD you are providing. This allows us to share common values to develop our practice. I particularly like the focus that is placed on 'unconditional positive regard'.
